Best Season:

The best season for the Everest Panorama Trek is generally considered to be from March to May and from September to November. Day 1: Arrival day in Kathmandu.

Overnight at hotel. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to explore the city, rest and acclimate to the altitude.

Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.

On this day, you will have a guided tour of the historical and cultural sites of the Kathmandu Valley. Some of the famous places you can visit include Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2710m).

Then trek to Phakding (2652 m). O/n at mountain lodge. After a short flight to Lukla, you will begin your trek to Phakding. The trail passes through small villages, along the Dudh Koshi River, and through rhododendron and pine forests. You will stay overnight at a mountain lodge in Phakding.

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446 m). O/n at mountain lodge.

On this day, you will trek to Namche Bazaar, the main trading center and hub of the Khumbu region. The trail ascends through forests of rhododendron and pine, with views of the snow-capped peaks of Thamserku (6608m) and Kwangde (6187m). You will stay overnight at a mountain lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Rest in Namche Bazaar/ Excursion Namche Bazaar and Syangboche Village. O/n at mountain lodge.

After several days of trekking, you will take a day to rest and acclimate to the high altitude in Namche Bazaar. You can also choose to take a side trip to the nearby village of Syangboche, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You will spend the night at a mountain lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Trek to Phortse (3600m), 6-7 hours.

On this day, you will trek to the village of Phortse, which is off the main trekking trail and offers a more remote experience. The trail passes through forests of rhododendron and pine and offers views of Ama Dablam and other peaks. You will stay overnight at a mountain lodge in Phortse.

Day 7: Trek to Tengboche (6-7 hours).

You will continue your trek to the village of Tengboche, passing through beautiful forests and enjoying views of the Khumbu Valley and snow-capped peaks like Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse. In Tengboche, you will visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, one of the most important centers of Tibetan Buddhism in the region. You will spend the night at a mountain lodge in Tengboche.

Day 8: Trek to Khumjung(3900).

Site trip to Khunde Hillary Clinic and Monastery. You will trek to the village of Khumjung, passing through beautiful forests and enjoying stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You will visit the Khunde Hillary Clinic and the Khumjung Monastery, where you can see a scalp claimed to belong to a yeti. You will spend the night at a mountain lodge in Khumjung.

Day 9: Trek to Phakding.

On this day, you’ll start your journey back towards Lukla by trekking to Phakding. The trek takes around 4-5 hours and is a gradual descent from Khumjung. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take in the scenic views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Once you reach Phakding, you’ll check into a mountain lodge and spend the night.

Day 10: Trek to Lukla.

On this day, you’ll complete your trek by making your way back to Lukla. The trek takes around 3-4 hours and is a relatively easy walk. Once you reach Lukla, you can celebrate the completion of your trek with a delicious meal and perhaps a drink at one of the local bars. You’ll spend the night in a mountain lodge.

Day 11: Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu. Souvenir and sightseeing in Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

On this day, you’ll take a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you’ll have some free time to do some last-minute souvenir shopping or to take in some more sights and sounds of the city. You can visit places like the Swayambhunath Stupa, the Boudhanath Stupa, or the Pashupatinath Temple. You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Final departure.

This is the final day of your trip, and you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. You’ll say goodbye to Nepal with memories of your incredible trek to the base of Mount Everest.
