Langtang Valley Trek Overview
The Langtang region of Nepal is situated extremely close to the capital but is yet untouched by the waves of urbanization and modernization. Its idyllic rural landscape and its wild Tibetan influence are extremely alluring. The people living here are descendants of the Tibetan origin, and the changes to mix up with these welcoming inhabitants are surely an experience in itself.
The Alpine Paradise Treks and Expedition offers the Langtang Valley Trekking trial, which takes you into the wild Langtang Valley standing tall with its untouched beauty. The short trek takes about 11 days to complete and starts off with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi.
As you move along the trail to pass through Lama Hotel and Mundu, the landscape gives way to varieties of rhododendron, forests of bamboo and beautiful waterfalls. The treeline is left behind, to expose the arid area of Langtang, complete with views of the Lang tang Lirung, Yala Peak, Shishapangma along the way. This trek is adequately called as the glacier trek as the views of amazing glaciers flowing down from the mountain peaks are extremely mind boggling too.
The Langtang Valley trek’s highest point in the Tserko Ri (3870m) which offers, even more, close up views of all the mountain peaks adorning the region. The short trek comes to an end in Kathmandu and will surely leave adventure seekers, willing to return back for more.
Best Season:
The best time to trek in the Langtang region is during the spring season, from March to May, or during the autumn season, from September to November. These months offer clear skies and mild temperatures, making for ideal trekking conditions.

Regulations:
- A licensed guide is not mandatory for this trek, but it is recommended.
- Trekkers are not allowed to stray from the designated route or explore off the path.
- Camping is only allowed at designated campsites.

- Respect local culture and customs.
- Obtain permission before taking photographs of locals or their property.
- Be aware of altitude sickness and take necessary precautions.
