Best Season:
The best season for Annapurna Expedition is during the spring season (March to May) and the autumn season (September to November). These seasons have more stable weather conditions and lower chances of precipitation or storms. The temperatures during these seasons are also more moderate and comfortable for climbing
Permits & Regulations:
- Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP): All trekkers and climbers entering the Annapurna Conservation Area are required to have an ACAP permit.
- Trekking Information Management System (TIMS) card: TIMS card is mandatory for all trekkers who are planning to trek in the Annapurna region.
- Mountaineering permit: Mountaineers are required to obtain a mountaineering permit from the Nepal Mountaineering Association.
- Liaison Officer: Mountaineering teams are required to have a liaison officer with them during the expedition.
