Panchase Trek Overview

Langtang region is one of the wildest regions of Nepal, untouched by the waves of modernization and urbanization, despite it being located so close to the capital, Kathmandu. The Langtang circuit trek is a combination of magical adventure, biodiversity, spectacular views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks, and the chance to intermingle with the ethnic inhabitants residing in the region.

The major attractions of this trek are the awesome views of the mountain peaks like the Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, and the Langtang II. Rhododendron and bamboo forests adorn the entire trail. Take a bath in the soothing hot springs situated in Gosaikunda and explore the pilgrimage value of the same. Explore the mysteries of the Kyanjing Gompa (3830m) and pass through the high Laurebinayak Pass (4610m) with even more awesome views of the mountain peaks of this region.

Best Season:

The best time to trek in the Langtang region is during the spring season, from March to May, or during the autumn season, from September to November. These months offer clear skies and mild temperatures, making for ideal trekking conditions.

Day to Day Itinerary

On the first day of your itinerary, you will arrive in the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. The city is known for its vibrant culture and rich history, and it is the perfect starting point for your trekking adventure. Once you arrive at the airport, you will be greeted by a representative who will transfer you to your hotel in the city. You will have the rest of the day to rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

On the second day, you will have the opportunity to explore the city of Kathmandu and learn about its history and culture. You will visit some of the most famous landmarks, including the UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and the historic Durbar Square. You will also have time to prepare for your trek by checking your gear, meeting your guide, and finalizing any last-minute arrangements.

On the third day, you will leave Kathmandu and head to Pokhara, which is known for its breathtaking natural beauty. The journey will take around 5-6 hours by bus or jeep, and you will have the opportunity to see some stunning scenery along the way. Pokhara is the gateway to some of the most famous trekking destinations in Nepal, including the Annapurna region, and it is the perfect place to start your trekking adventure.

On the fourth day, you will start your trekking adventure. You will drive to Khare Khola and then start trekking to Bhumdi, which is a small village located at an altitude of 1520m/ 4986ft. The trek will take around 3-4 hours, and you will have the opportunity to see some beautiful scenery along the way. Bhumdi is a great place to stay overnight and get a taste of the local culture.

On the fifth day, you will continue your trek to Panchase Bhanjyang, which is located at an altitude of 2030m/6660ft. The trek will take around 4-5 hours, and you will pass through some beautiful forests and small villages along the way. Once you reach Panchase Bhanjyang, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

On the sixth day, you will continue your trek to Bhaudaure, which is another small village located at an altitude of 2030m/6660ft. The trek will take around 4-5 hours, and you will have the opportunity to see some beautiful landscapes along the way. Bhaudaure is a great place to stay overnight and get a taste of the local culture.

On the seventh day, you will trek to Kande, which is located at an altitude of 1770m/5807ft. The trek will take around 3-4 hours, and you will pass through some beautiful forests and small villages along the way. Kande is a great place to stay overnight and get a taste of the local culture.

On the eighth day, you will drive back to Pokhara, which will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you will have the opportunity to explore the city and relax after your trekking adventure.

On the ninth day, you will take a 25-30 minute flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you will have the rest of the day to explore the city or do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.

On the final day of your itinerary, you will be transferred to the airport in Kathmandu for your departure. You will fly back to your port of destination, taking with you memories of a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in Nepal.

Departure Dates
  • We have daily departures for this trip from March to May and from mid-September to mid-December. You can type in the number of passengers to book a reservation and select a date that is convenient for you. Due to group size, we never cancel a trip once you’ve made a reservation. If you would rather join the group, we will add more travelers on the selected date. You can let us know once you make a reservation or earlier.
