Pikey Peak trek is getting popular which is located to north east from Kathmandu known lower Solukhumbu Nepal. From the top of the Pikey Peak one can entertain the sunrise view with several magnificent panoramic mountains ranges, that encompasses several highest peaks above 8000 meters such as; Mount Everest (8848m), Mt. Kanchenjungha (8586m), Mt. Makalu (8463m), Mt. Lhotse (8414m). This trail is considered a less walked path for trekkers where you can explore settlements of Sherpa people with culture and tradition they have been practicing.
Pikey Peak trek offers you to experience the jaw-dropping panoramic view of the great Himalayas including all from the Everest region such as Thamserku (6,608m), Khangtega (6,782 m), Numbur (6957M/22824ft), Mera Peak (6,654m/21,831ft), Rangdung Peack (5,925m), Manaslu (8,163), Dhaulagiri (8,167m /26,795ft); Gausishankar (7,134m/23,406ft), and Dorje Lakpa (6,966m/22,854ft) and many more peaks from lower elevation and shortest distance from Kathmandu in low cost as well. Pikey peak trek is a perfect alternative to skip hectic flight to Lukla to experience Mount Everest. Besides that, it is also suitable for new trekkers and hikers.
Pikey peak trek is an exploration of both nature and culture. This package is designed and categorized as a short trek of 7 days. We can minimize this trek by skipping side trek to Thuptenchholing Monastery. Flight back to Kathamndu from Phaplu would be an option or if you want expand three days more you can trek to Dudhkunda Lake for 2night and 3days camping treks too.
